Last updated: 23 August 2025
By accessing and using Hallam Confession ("the Service", "we", "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms for your use of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, whether you are a "Visitor" (which means that you simply browse the website) or a "User" (which means that you have submitted content). The term "User" refers to a Visitor or a User.
2. User Conduct and Content Rules
You are solely responsible for the content that you post on the Service ("User Content"). You agree not to post any User Content that:
- Is illegal, threatening, defamatory, abusive, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or is otherwise objectionable.
- Contains personally identifiable information about any person other than yourself. This includes, but is not limited to, full names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses.
- Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party.
- Constitutes incitement to violence, promotes self-harm, or contains hate speech directed at an individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
3. Content Ownership and License
All content submitted to Hallam Confession is considered public and anonymous. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.
4. Moderation and Content Removal
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and/or review all User Content. We reserve the right to remove any User Content for any reason or no reason, including User Content that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, our community guidelines, or is otherwise objectionable. We may remove any content at any time without notice.
5. Disclaimers of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Hallam Confession, its owners, or operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the Service.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Hallam Confession, its owners, and operators harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within England.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the most current version of these Terms on our website. If a modification meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify you. By continuing to use the Service after the changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
